Another spectacular “Blow Away the Cobwebs”

Many thanks to all those involved in organising and ensuring the day ran smoothly.

Looking forward to the next adventure.

Thanks

Thank you everyone who braved the weather on a damp and dreary Sunday morning to make this our busiest Clear away the Cobwebs event ever.

As R3 keeps on growing it's fantastic to see events like this help new friendships form and blossom, with so many members eagerly joining in.

With so much support it really is hard to catch up with and get around everyone, so if I didn't get to you today please accept my apologies, but I hope you understand with 46 cars meeting at Beamish this morning and well over 70 members it was always going to be a tall task for Deb & I to greet you all, but hopefully between us we didn't miss anyone.

Special thanks to Philip & Jacquie and Dave & Amy once more for their contribution in helping to plan and execute this event. Like every Region we massively rely on the incredible help of key members and feel it's only fair we recognise their help and support and would like to attribute today to another great team effort.

Thank you all for your continued support and we hope to do it all again very soon.

Greg & Deb.

Home after another amazing day - so pleased I packed my spangly new bobble hat - just goes to show a bit of dreary weather won't stop R3!

Here's to another great season!

Great day out again this year and thanks to all the members for turning out, the fun driving and happy banter... makes the planning all worth while - until the next time 😀 - Philip & Jacquie

Another fantastic, well organised day. Cant believe the amount of cars that turned out in such dreary weather. A testament to all R3 members.

Thanks to all the organisers and helpers throughout the day.

Just imagine the numbers if it had been sunny!!

cracking day, damp miserable weather didn’t dampen R3 spirits as has been mentioned already.

Thoroughly enjoyed today, even if it meant spending 8 or 9 miles being tailed by the rozzers after my quick squirt up that overtaking lane out of Morpeth!

Fantastic turnout, amazing to see such variety of cars and colours, from this very special marque.

more thanks to Greg & Deb, David C, and Philip for another “it just happens” [smoothly] day.

what a brilliant day out, our first run R3 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A bit of foam-wash and the car turned back to yellow :) magic day.. thanks for organising it :)

Super drive out today despite the weather! nice seeing everyone again and so many people joining in :) ! I'm sure there will be a lot of cars getting cleaned and washed in the next day or two, I know mine needs it !

A great start to 'drive-outs' this year and a fab place for lunch - even if the little group we were in forgot to stop at Bamburgh Castle! Thanks to everyone for making Clearing Away The Cobwebs such a fantastic R3 event.

Tomorrow needs a little time with the bucket and sponge, as penence for so much enjoyable motoring

Thanks to organisers for great mornings drive.

Now ive just got to clean the car again and get that bloody cyclist out of my wheel arch.

Our first run with PCGB and the awards to R3 are certainly well deserved on the evidence of today! Enjoyed the route, the driving, the number and variety of Porsches; brilliant day and very impressive - thanks to all involved for the planning, organisation and delivery.

A big thank you to everyone we met as well - all very friendly, helpful and some interesting knowledge shared on our 986 - much appreciated.

Looking forward to joining in on other events.

Thanks again - events as successful as this take a lot of committed and experienced input and it showed - we loved it!

Superb Day, Superb Organising, Superb Drive, Superb People .................. & yes I still have the "best Superb car" [:D][&:]

Thanks Greg, Deb, David, Amy, Phil & Jacque for a great run out - pity we only did the Alnwick section but had to get back for our dogs (don’t ask!) so never got a chance to socialise much. A brilliant mix of cars, great people & a great day despite the miserable weather. A return trip is planned to The Dirty Bottles pub in Alnwick methinks🤨!
