A while ago I started a thread called http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=643029&mpage=1&key=Rusty%2Cbum򜿕 I have got round to adding to the story.
Check the area around the number plate lights, the seals between light and body are made of a spongy material so hold water hence RUST, out of sight , out of mind. I will attempt to post pictures of my repair which I advise you soak the seals in waxoil or similar.

Thanks for that, other spots to check are the rear hatch catch receptacle (or whatever its called), number plate mounting points, wheelarches (inner + outer), sills, front wings bottoms and windscreen surround.

Got mine covered in cavity wax it is one that i have known about for a while, it is as common as rusty sills [:mad:]
