How about you and Mark coming over for a fitting bee with a full Sunday lunch on offer?
You are on! [8D]
I did the samer thing as you in the summer. Bought new disks and pads and fitted them myself. No previous experience!
I can't remember the great web site I used to help me do this, but if you search for my posts you'll find it.
First disk and pads took 1 hour, second set 30 minutes...most of that time was taken up with the wheel bolts....the job is pretty easy if you have all the tools required.
In the link mentioned (which is excellent), I'd also add a pair of small g-clamps to hold back the pistons on the calipers (use a pad to stop any damage)...otherwise a lot fo force is required ot push them back, when fitting the new pads.
Don't forget to reduce your brake fluid level when the job is finished, as your thicker pads will push the pistons further in, forcing the fluid back into the resevoir. (I used a straw, dipped into the fluid, whilst blocking the other end with my finger!).
And finally get the bolts torqued up correctly at your local garage (if you don't already have a torque wrench). Kwik-Fit, did this for me for free.

I have found that the best way to deal with brake dust is to spray the insides of the wheels with a silicone spray (being careful to avoid the tyres) once they are properly clean (wheels off) after each track day. Then the worst of the dust can be wiped, or brushed off dry next time.
