Hi all, I am having a clearout at the moment in the garage and have a red 1989 S2 for sale. Only has 100,000 on it with history. Colour is a bit pinky in places and the back of the sill will need a small bit of patching. Has had an engine top end build and also a clutch so those jobs are fine. I have a gearbox to put in it but that won't be a problem as the original had failed. V5 is in my name. Interior is black pin stripe. Wheels are 16inch cups. Car is needing a few minor bits and pieces but woulnd't be too hard to get through an MOT. I am looking for £1600 ONO for it. Any takers?

Hi Alistair, apologies for late reply

I've been toying with the idea of replacing my S with an S2 (more speeeeeed :) ), my quandry is that I know my S is well sorted, no rust, everything works, (and I do mean everthing) and has been hugely reliable (35000 miles in two years) and never let me down. However £1600 for as S2 seems too good not to give some consideration too, providing there isn't too much work involved.

Alasdair, assuming this is still available, I've passed details to a potentially interested party who may contact you direct. I also mentioned you had a grey late s2 too.
