Chassis warning

My 2008 Cayenne 4.8V8 has been displaying a chassis warning on the dash, just a minute, or so, after a cold start and moving off for just a few meters. This has been possible to delete after a restart. It will often recur two or three times before disappearing. However, some sensors are voltage sensitive and can misbehave just a little below the nominal level of 12.6V. With this in mind, I put my battery on charge for two hours. It began by taking 10A for about five minutes and then dropped to virtually nothing after two hours.
The chassis warning light no longer appears. A cheap fix, I hope!

Have seen this on our 2006 Turbo. Seems more prevalent when unused for any length of time in winter. Car is always on a trickle charger when in the garage but after local trips (20 - 30 miles) it takes a very long time for the trickle charge to reach full charge (2nd green Light).
Couple of hours on a 'normal' charger and everything returns to normal. This first occurred several years ago so I think your probably ok.
