Although in the East of the county, we hope this will appeal to those all across the region.

On 22nd August you are invited to a charity event for the Hornsea Inshore Rescue, the day starts with a private visit to Wassand Hall gardens from 10am, the gardens are not normally open to the public at the weekend.

Wassand Hall Gardens

We will then be moving on to the rescue station by 12.30 for a Fish and Chip lunch from the town's famous fryer, Whiteheads, this will be hosted in the station where the rescue team will be on hand to tell you about the role they play in keeping our coast safe.

Tickets for the lunch and gardens are £25 per person, which will include drinks with the fish and chips. If you do not wish to visit the gardens, the cost of the fish and chips will be £20 per person. There will also be a raffle on the day.

We will have free parking reserved around the Inshore Rescue Station so you will be able to explore Hornsea after lunch and leave your car at the inshore rescue station.

We will require a £10 deposit per person and numbers are limited, please respond below if you are interested and by email to: r7eastriding@gmail.com
