Charity Drive in Support of Lymphoma Action Sunday 29 September

Below is the entrance map for access to Lowther Castle. They owners of the castle have kindly given us our own entrance so we won't have to queue with the normal visitors and this will also allow us to get to our parking area easily. As you can see the entrance we will be using is slightly away from the main castle entrance.

We will have marshalls on the day and there will be Porsche Club banners to assist in directing you.

David, Karen, Jacquie and I have checked out our route for 29th September for those who are not attending the Boxster Breakfast and want a run across as an R3 group. Lowther Castle is in a lovely location and will make a magnificent backdrop for our cars. There is a good cafe for lunches, if it's wet it may get busy as there is limited seating inside, if its dry there is plenty of outside seating in a pleasant courtyard, or nice grounds for a picnic.

We will meet at the A68 Cafe, Toft Hill (DL14 0JF) for breakfast at 9am and depart at 10am, route details will be provided at breakfast, or for those that want to pick us up along the route we will travel through Middleton-in-Teesdale.

Breakfast is normally a first come first served affair at the A68 Cafe, however, we spoke to the team there on Sunday and as there is potentially a large number of us the team will reserve seats for us for a 9am breakfast. If you wish to reserve a seat(s) please confirm by reply on this forum thread, with the number of seats you require, by Monday 23 September (late requests cannot be considered I am afraid).

Those not wishing to have breakfast, but wish to join us at the Cafe for the drive across, please be at the Cafe by 9:50am to collect your route instructions for a 10am departure.

Any questions please contact David Bradford (Gen 1) or myself.

Thanks, and look forward to seeing everyone - Philip & David.

I/We will come along but may meet you at the Castle. This will be a great follow on from Philips NC500 which I can't wait for :)

A massive thank you to Porsche Centre Kendal for donating a Porsche Rucksack that will be raffled on the day along with other items [:)] Tickets will be ÂŁ1 each

All proceeds from the raffle along with the donations received will be going to Laura's chosen charity - Lymphoma Action

Hi Philip & David,

Just to reconfirm I will be meeting at the A68 cafe but will not require breakfast. I'll be there before 10.00am to join the convoy over, thanks.

John

Hi Philip & David

A slight clarification on our arrival. Gilian and I will meet you at the A68 Cafe at about 9.30am, so we'll not order food. Looking forward to the day and the drive.

See you on Sunday.

John & Gillian

Hi Gary would you mind confirming how many seats you would like for breakfast just so I can ask the Cafe to reserve seats.

Thanks - Philip

Good morning Philip

Just to confirm Barbara and I will not require breakfast at the cafe.

Mike

Thanks Gary, should have worked it out as you signed off Gary and Michelle... doh!
