Most of you will have received the email from Scott Please give it serious consideration ,many of you supported it the 2 years it was held and it was a great success .I know it is 6 months away BUT we need people to commit NOW as the Disclosure Scotland form take months to process so the cut off date will be May so if you decide after that time it will be to late .So PLEASE PLEASE support us and give these kids a day to remember as sadly many will not survive this dreadful illness .
Thanks in advance for your support

We are only looking for approx 30/40 cars so hopefully will get that we have already got 15 from TIPEC .It is not going to be anything as large as the 2006 event .So buy a Porsche and come along [:D] you know you want to

Count me in assuming it's a weekend day.

I might be able to get some other exotica too if needed.

Paul.

Paul
read the email sent as venue and date is clearly stated [:D][:D]
It is a Sunday It is Porsches only ,as stated once you commit that is it no backing out so check your diary and get back to me or Scott

Very slow take up of this worthwhile event ..need it all tied up ASAP due to DS forms taking months to go through ...

Response so far has been poor guys ...please give it serious thought as the last time we had over 40 cars from PCGB now it is just 3 who have volunteered

Sorry Brian - will be selling mine soon, so no point volunteering when I won't have a car (unless they want to allow Westfields ;) )

Brian,

Does John Chesworth, R2 organiser, know about this event? I have seen nothing about this Charity Day event up in the cold North. I am guessing that the venue is in Edinburgh or Glasgow but maybe some of the R2 guys and girls may come to this worthwhile event and make is a very special day to a very sick child.

Also .. can the person who organises the Scotland Forum keep this ITEM posted at the top of the board?
I see that you have already requested it to be kept at the top of the Forum, Brian, but without success it seem.

Iain
I thought i could get enough support from this region based on the last event .It was not my intention to preclude R2 just thought it was a long way down for Northern members to come . The main problem is getting these DS forms collated and if some one from say Peterhead volunteered they would have to travel dowm mid week to get there form vetted and checked .I will contact John and let him know about the day .I will have to contact the administrators to get this post stuck at top .

Brian,

I understand the problem. I have about 7 of these disclosures for the various charity things that I undertake. It is a bit of a nonsence. I believe they are trying to change the system so that once you have "passed" the screening test you will not need to go through the whole procedure again. Only an updated check will be required.

Best of luck with your event.

Pinned to the top for you, Brian. [:)]

I did reply to your e-mail but it bounced back as an invalid address. Might be worth just checking the address in your profile in case it's wrong, although it's more likely to be my fault. [&o]

Hi Brian / Scott,

I'd be up for that but will double check the calendar first. Did not get a separate email on the subject so please point me in the right direction.

How inconsiderate get her to change the day [:D][:D] thank you for the offer ..Still looking for more very poor response thus far .To all the good people that have volunteered I now have the DS forms to hand and will be sending them out soon along with a master sheet so you can copy the correct format to fill in
