Changing the battery on my 996

Guys, thinking about changing my battery to a new bosch S5 from Eurocarparts. With the 25% discount it's cheap at 77 quid.
My question is ..... Is there a specific order things need to be done? Or is it as simple as switch engine off, change battery, switch engine on and put in PCM codes and job done? Thanks Roy
