Ceramic Coating on an 8 year old car

Is it worth doing? And if so can anyone recommend a good company in the South Bucks area?

I moved from South Bucks about 18 months ago but before I did, I got both my 718 Cayman and my wife's Mini Cooper treated by https://azuricarcare.co.uk I would recommend you speak to Graham Frawley on 01438 420458. I know he's treated cars for others in R21 and although Azuri are in Stevenage I'm sure Graham could work something out and would be able to advise what treatments would be appropriate. Good luck!

I had my 7yr old 987 ceramic coated (Williams ceramic) when I bought it in 2017 and it has made a huge difference to ease of cleaning and maintaining a high gloss on the paintwork the past 4 years.


my car is currently with Martin at Vivid Element in Haddenham (Bucks), for a full clean and detail, 3-stage paint correction and re-application of ceramic, which should keep the car looking like new for another 5yrs.


For ceramic to really be worthwhile the paintwork it’s being applied to should be brought up to a good finish first with some meticulous cleaning and scratch / swirls removal. ????

Hi Tony, thanks for the recommendation. I had my car ceramic coated by Azuri and it looks amazing. They also did the wheels and cleaned the interior leather. Well worth it! Thanks again!
