Caymans & Coffee on 28th October 2018 (Hampshire and neighbouring counties)

16/10/18, Update. The date and time of this informal meet for Cayman Register members is still as originally published on Sunday October 28th 2018, 10:00 - 12:00. Thanks to assistance from Mandy Sutch and Chris Seaward in the club office we now have a new location which is about 5 miles away from that originally planned, details are as follows: Location: Lasham Gliding Society, Lasham Airfield, The Avenue, Alton, Hants, GU34 5SS Parking: We have been told by the general manager that we can use the parking area located immediately on the right as you enter the airfield, using the following Google Maps link that parking area is shown on the left https://goo.gl/maps/SPgKBJoUVJT2. Please do not park in a way which will impede the Gliding Society members or airfield users. Cafe: We are allowed to use the cafe for drinks, sandwiches and meals. Please let any Gliding Society members or airfield users to the front of any queues, it would also be courteous of us if we don't all crowd in to the cafe at the same time. I think that we're quite close to the limit of how many people we can accomodate at this meeting, I may soon have to start a reserve list. If you find, as the date approaches, that you're unable to attend please let me know. Thanks to those of you who have confirmed your attendance already. Only those not on my attendees list, those no longer attending, or those who want me to change the list need to reply to this thread (or message me). I said I’d give the cafe an idea of numbers a few days beforehand.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for rearranging it & yes we are both still coming & also to eat.

I remember stopping there & watching the gliders in my lunch break in the 70’s, scary!

cheers.

Thanks Andrew for New details. I am on the list and still attending for food. Looks like great turnout!

Best regards

Matt Jones

With just one week to go and lots of participants I have now closed the list to new entries.

I’ll add any further names to a reserve list.

Thank you. Andrew

Sadly I can no longer make it so drop off to free up a space. I’m sure it will be a great day and look forward to the next one!

Oli

Hi, had this as a provisional in my calendar for a while and just seen that it's filling up, so yes please, I'll be there!

(If there's space for me!)
