Cayman s missing MOT

Just bought my first Porsche Cayman S2 2006 Reg No. WA56 MVO, all Hpi checked out and full service history but there is 1 MOT missing between June 2012 and March 2013 ? I have checked the dvla Website and this confirms it. Any idea how I can check what happened to the car during these dates, apart from that the car is superb, has been checked out by a Porsche independant and all looks good, cant wait for the weather to improve to really see what the car is like to drive.

Problem with all Porsches is that some drivers don't use them much. Its owner probably had a couple of other cars and was busy for a few months and had no reason to take car out. There is no legal need to have an MOT on a car that's not being used. My car had same, but it was obvious from service receipts the car had only done 250 miles in the year that had an MOT gap of a few months. Not sure there is anything to worry about.
 
Would not be too worried Shaun - I would be more worried if there were large gaps in the service record. As Mark had posted there can be often periods where cars do little mileage.
