Cayman Owners Club.....does it get a look in from PCGB members?

Just checking on the opinion of this owners club, I came across them recently on a string here re a June Porsche car meet at Beaulieu.

Certainly does. Some knowledgeable people on there and the forum has a professional feel about it. They also organised an open day at RPM Technik recently.

I’m a member (which is free) and donor (it was set up by some passionate individuals at their own cost and exists by member donations) of the Cayman OC (it has a rather unfortunate three letter acronym).

We‘re a nice friendly bunch and meet up occasionally at the super sausage for a Sunday mornin bacon butty, not as ‘corporate’ and ‘managed’ as the PCGB, more ‘freestyle’ and informal.

They have a club ‘patch’ at Beaulie too.

Quite a number of the COC members are on the PCGB forums too. 👍🏻

I have just signed up. It will be interesting to see the site when I get time.

Ray

In view of the the discussion taking place in this thread regarding the PCGB Forum it would be very interesting to hear how the COC forum and this one compare from those of you who use both.

My feeling is that there is more activity on the CoC forum but I’ll usually post here first if I have a question to ask as I’d like to see this forum used more.

Tanya, I don’t know the answer, you may get a better response if you start a new thread with your question as this thread is about the Cayman Owners Club.
