Great to have you onboard David...is that one car or is ‘Liz‘ a seperate driver?

If you PM me your number I’ll add you to the whatsapp group

Quick update, numbers are steadily growing we are now up to 16 cars with R5 leading the way with 50% of those saying they are joining in.

I've had confirmation that both the Creamery in Hawes and The Tan Hill Inn will be happy to accommodate us once we have final numbers.

Reminder, if anyone wants to join the WhatsApp group please send me a PM and I'll add you in.

Hi.

Please include Raj and Sam on this meet from R3 (Boxster 987s), we are hoping you are still accepting attendees on the meet?

Do we use an option on the site to PM?

Thanks

Raj

Open to anyone with a Cayman or Boxster although anyone turning up last minute may miss out on lunch of we have to pre order.

ive got you on the list I’m assuming. if you want to PM me on here your mobile I’ll add you to the WhatsApp grpup. im organising for R3 so I’ll pass on the meeting point(s) nearer the time.

Welcome on board

Just an update to give this run a bump up the posts, thought it would be worth a count of cars by region as of 24/2...19 cars is pretty good start with the event 2 months away so we have plenty of time to get more interest...anyway R5 is in the lead at the moment

R3 = 4 R5 = 8 R6 =3 R7 = 2

R8 = 1 R18 =0 R22 =0

R30 = 0

R? = 1

OK guys things are moving fast. The Creamery have confirmed that they are happy to host us for coffees & breakfast in the cafe there from around 10am.

The Tan Hill Inn have reserved their barn for us and have offered a choice of buffet menu (they think they would struggle to cater for such a large group for full Sunday lunches as they have a lot of exsiting regulars)

I would suggest the hot buffet simply for the variety, but other opinions may vary and I’m happy to go witch the majority so comments below please...

A Few other points worth a mention...Firstly, Tan Hill Inn asked for a deposit and @Paul_Grundy very kindly offered to leave one when he goes there to try out some routes, so big shoutout and thanks to him for being such a willing volunteer!

Secondly, Tan Hill Inn also mentioned they have a large regular number of enthusiasts who would love to see such a group of Porsches parked outside the highest pub in the country and asked if we would object to them publicising. I dont have an issue as I love talking to other petrolheads however I am mindful that any publicity could result in a ‘safety’ camera van in a lay by nearby...I may be being paranoid as the Tan Hill Inn and the roads around it are very remote but I thought it worth asking in anyone had an opinion one way or the other? Again comments below please...

Finally...the WhatsApp group for the meet is steadily growing, if you want to be included PM me your mobile number and I’ll add you to it!
