I got my car with a 2 year warranty about 3 months ago, ive done about 300 miles in it, after going out and leaving the spoiler up while parked fora few hours i have now noticed that the rear wing/spoiler doesnt close 100% or go all the way down like im sure it did when i got it, i have tried pressing the button, holding the button etc etc, putting it up manually, automatically, and nothing seems to change, i have tried giving the spoiler a bit of a prod when down to see if it will go the final bit but it seems pretty firm and solid, i cant see anything blocking or any obvious reason why this is, it seems to go up and down absolutely fine, other than the 5-10 mm gap its now leaving, when closed so its not completely flush,

does any one have any thoughts or info on whats causing this or how to fix it?

It's not unknown for this to happen your opc can adjust it or in some cases replace one or both of the folding brackets

Are you 100% sure it isn’t all the way down? There is always a small gap, looks a bit odd when you focus on it, but they are all the same.. Worth checking against some photos online of others maybe?

Hi. Mine doesn’t go all the way down either. I have replaced one of the actuators too. I had to remove the bumper and rear lights to do this job. I’ve concluded that I need to remove the bumper again and lower the whole spoiler motor set down by around 10mm. Then I can rebuild and fine adjust using the two height adjusters and fix the top piece of spoiler back on. Bit of a faff but mine has had a small rear end bump so I know something wasn’t quite right. You can always try taking the top piece of spoiler off by removing the 5 small screws. Then remove the two nuts that hold the base of the spoiler onto the actuators. You will see two adjustable nuts. Hopefully you can wind it down a bit and see how you get on. Good luck!
