The manual for the PCM is in German. How can I get hold of a manual in English?
I’m also missing a few buttons on the bottom row under the screen. Is it possible to source these from anywhere?
I see that some people have upgraded the old PCM module with a new Apple Car Play module. I might do this in due course, but for now, I’d like to keep the original as I quite like the retro features such as the CD player.
But what do people do with their old module? Anyone willing to donate (or sell) it in my direction?

Hi, welcome! It would be a good idea to identify the year of your car and/or which version of PCM you have (3, 3.1 etc) and whether it has phone with Bluetooth, satnav etc. If in doubt, post a picture of it so it can be identified. That way you’ll get the most relevant replies.

Thanks Brian, good point!
The PCM version I don’t know but the car is a 2007 987 base model 2.7. Here is a photo….

Good pic. I think that’s a PCM 2.1, though not 100% sure. I don’t have personal experience of that but someone will hopefully be along who can help. Or search for upgrades to PCM 2.1 or take a look at the In Car or 987 parts of boxa.net. Good luck!
