Cayenne eHybrid charging issues

After 2 years of ownership I am still having issues with timed overnight charging of my 2024 Cayenne eHybrid.
it regularly doesn’t charge or doesn't charge fully when using the scheduled departure option in the app Regardless of what setting I use.
works fine if ‘direct charging’ is on.
I am using vorsprung chargers I have a 7kw and a 22kw.
I have also used the chargers timing system but the car doesn’t play well with that either.
Anybody out there having similar issues?
Also am I the only person annoyed by the car’s insistence on charging to 25% when you first plug it in when direct charging is off?
any thoughts?
