I'm rebuilding the front suspension of my 1976 Carrera 3.0, which has Bilstein shocks.
These fit into the struts 'upside down', and are secured at the base of each strut by a roll pin.
By the time I got these out when I was stripping the struts down they were pretty much destroyed, and therefore need replacing.
Problem is, where to source them! My local PC can't help because their parts listing shows the Boge shocks, which don't need the roll pins, and therefore they can't find a part number.
I've tried various fastener suppliers but because the pins need to be suitable for a 7mm dia hole, and standard roll pin sizes seem to be 6mm or 8mm, I've drawn a blank there also.
Has anyone got any ideas where else I could try?
Many thanks,
Richard
