carbs

Right i am now sorting out the engine and im stuck on carbs i would like some chrome airfilters can i get them for the solex' s???


And is it worth me gettin them rebuilt?? and who is the man for the job

Or should i just get webers
 
webers hmm it' s up to you. but thier is a guy who is great at the rebuilds of the carbs each one is £135 + vat to do they come back like new..

Carburetor Exchange is the company look it up in the back the Pratical motoring mag under advertisers and he is there.

It transformed my engine running..

SOLEX K&N conversion kit

A few people do them in the States

I have heard very good things about Carburettor Exchange - Phil Sewell (a 356 chap whose SC won the concours at Highclere two years ago) had his done there and was very impressed - they worked as well as they looked!

well i just bought some chrome filters k&n ones bolt on made for the 912 solexs but the down side is £120 but nevermind will look sweet

got them from our local k&n dealer and i got to wait for 2-3 weeks

better start saving them pennies[;)]
