hey folks, has anyone got a discount code for carparts911.co.uk my parts list is getting pretty long and crazy!?

Also just about to place the order are they ok to deal with?

carparts911.co.uk

Don't know them, don't think there's a Club discount with them.

Any reason to use them over the recommended suppliers, particularly Porsche themselves? Looking at a couple of parts I've had recently they aren't particularly cheap.

David, write all of your part numbers down and ditch that site, and enter them into www.carparts4less.co.uk. Its the same firm (all ECP) but theyre cheaper and even if theyre only the same price, then the £5/£10/£15 discount will make then far cheaper. Jiggle the amounts around to get the maximum discount - its delivered free so theres no penalty for multiple transactions.

thanks will try that, I also have a 25% code of all euro parts not just some, seems to work.

cheers

I gave up trying to buy here as they had no clue about what they were selling.

That's a shame they've been brilliant the two times I've used them.

Mine too. Their base prices are way higher than the usual specialist suppliers who have actual knowledge of our cars - Type911, Promax, Design911, Berlyn etc. Then they publicise all these discount codes which makes you 'feel good' and think you are getting a good deal but in reality it is often still cheaper to buy from the recognised suppliers listed above.

Clever marketing (but I still check them out because the website is easy to use and you never know [:)] )

thanks big orders in with cp4l.
picked up a battery and relay from euro parts click an collect, it was £4 dearer even with 25% off but wanted it for tonight to tinker!

the annoying thing with euro is their discount sometimes only applies to certain products, but have a code for 25% of everything and it works
