Car Covers

Hi
After a mild winter so far, I've decided to put my 997 into an open barn for storage for a few months
Which car cover would you recommend to protect it in the barn?

Thanks Paul

Depends how ‘open’ it is. If the wind blows through then a cover is likely to rub and scratch the paintwork. A rigid frame ‘bubble‘ might be ok If you have power available https://airflow-uk.com/product/car-airchamber/

If it’s only open on one side then one of these will probably do the trick. Not designed to get wet, but my car has one when in storage and works well.

Just make sure the car is freshly cleaned before putting any cover on as that’s when the scratching will happen. I don’t have a garage & missed the chance to get the cover on before this recent snow & ice, so it’ll just have to stay as it is until it warms up & melts away. You’ll inflict more damage to the paintwork with poor washing technique or fitting covers to a dirty car than any amount of snow or ice or rain.
