Can our cars compete with a modern day Supercar???

ORIGINAL: barks944

Fantastic, pat on the back for that man. Has the 3.0 16V setup proven itself as a reliable one now? I see there's been a few builds over in the US.
Well certainly these guys have had no issues so far with their 16v 3L motors. He's also built one for another guy on that results list I've linked (which doesn't seem to be working anymore??), Nik Preiston.
That car is running lower boost than Sean's and is in a lower class on R spec rubber but it's holding up fine also. Perhaps we over-complicate these bigger builds. He's using Vitesse software, a Speedforce Racing inlet and makes up the exhaust headers by using the flanges off the 16v motors and welds them onto the stock 951 extractors. He'll refresh the motor between seasons and go again. He wants to make the car lighter so is looking to use a lexan rear hatch.

Oh, here's a couple links to some builds he's done. The latest build was for another customer. It's a 2.5L 8v but more racecar oriented. Came out rather well I think you'll agree.
