Thanks for sharing the link James, a very interesting project, I take my hat off to the builder, looks like a good job and I admire his willingness to experiment on the hoof so to speak, brilliant stuff.

That Yellow car hardly constitutes a road going car Pete. You might be surprised to know that I've seen it in the metal at the Ace Cafe myself. He did some burnouts and chuffed off in a haze of tyre smoke. It sure looked fast but it's not a Porsche in my eyes.

I agree it's no longer a Porsche Patrick and not my cup of tea either, I suspect like you the engine is the heart and sole of the car and just isn't right with a chunk of USA in side of her, but it is a fun car and like you say it's not really a road car. I believe the owner has moved on to some other project these days, I'll ask my son if he knows what?
