Camtower gasket help !!!

Hi, changed the cam tower gasket today and put back together, now will not start, belt back on correct. Only thing that i had to do was disconnect two of the injectors from the rail, to get them out, then put them back on.

There is spark at the plugs but it just turns over and over no atempt to start..... cant see why this is happening, always been a first time starter ?????????

Anyone any ideas or something i have missed ................. Phil
 
Sounds very like a cable connection has been disturbed, possibly the crank sensors at the back - best to carefully work your way over all the engine electricals in the area......

Did you use a flywheel lock? If not are you sure the crank was at TDC on No1 cylinder when you aligned the cam sprocket.

Assuming the timing is correct carefully loosen the nut on the end of the fuel rail to see if fuel is present. Get someone to turn the engine over and listen for the injectors operating, you can use a stethoscope or a long screwdriver.

Obvious I know but all the HT leads do go to the correct plugs?
 
Thanks guys.... got up next morning to check the rev counter for movement when cranking..... and jumped into life first turn.... wayhay a night of " what could i have mist"..... poss fuel air lock, sorted it's self over night......
