Camping at Silverstone Classic

Just booked my tickets - £45 for 3 days (2 people) [].

Just need to sort out somewhere to stay . . .called the first on this list (as recommnended by the ticket line) and they're sending me a brochure (I'm used to bring you own paper and port-a-loos). No camping on the circuit is what they told me.

http://www.whittlebury.com/info.html First on list - according to their website it's £110 'cash on arrival' for the F1 GP [:-] (wonder if that's per night).

Classic Le Mans - 70 Euro for 4 nights (facilities aren't great mind you).

Afraid I'm not doing the track day (was very, very tempted . . . hoping to get some kind of 'parade lap' but we'll see).

I'll be there Friday, Saturday night (i.e. I'm there for the 3 days).

Panic over Whittlebury Park is only £30 for three nights [] . . . . looks like that's were you'll find me. It's behind the trees at Copse corner - probably a 1/2 to1 mile if walking (I'll be displaying the car each day - so driving - probably more like 5 miles in the car).

Not sure what to do yet, do not have notification of track day acceptance and passes for the weekend yet, been concentrating on Classic Le Mans! Look forward to tying up if in the campsite, shame about the bonfires and fireworks though[]
