Sorry if this is a repeat and that it's been asked a thousand times but had a look through the threads and couldn't see the same thing.
Do alloy calipers fit 85/86 cars?
My calipers are at that point where whey could do with some love, do I try my luck with an ebay alloy set will they even fit? or do I get these rebuilt?
I had some calipers rebuilt before using a firm that advertised in PP but can't see their advet any more, anyone got any good suggestions?
cheers

Yes and no. Yes you can fit them but only the Brembo calipers from the 1986 model year 944 Turbo. The other option would be to wide-track your early offset car, but that only really makes sense if youre going to race it (wide-track meaning to fit later offset A-arms and the hubs and brakes from an S2 or 87> Turbo).

Thank you for that I thought various parts could be swapped! There used to be a great company that advertised in Porsche Post for reconditioning calipers, I used them once for some and they came back like new! Dose anyone remember there name or could you recommend someone else if I was to just get mine rebuilt?
cheers
