I understood that Porsche's model designation for the Cayman S was C7S (presumably the Cayman is C7), in the same way that the current Boxster is 987 and the current 911 is 997. However, the salesman at the OPC where I took a test drive yesterday told me that it's a 987. Can anyone give me definitive answer on this?
By the way I enjoyed the test drive, short though it was, and am thinking of a Cayman S to replace my Boxster 550 and BMW Touring. Option prices are pretty frightening but I reckon I should be able to keep it below £50k if I'm sensible. Any recommendations on what not to add to the spec?
