C2 Seat adjustment

The seat adjustment on the drivers seat will not adjust the seat to a higher position. . The motor appears to be working but there is no movement from the front or back button. The passenger seat adjustment is working perfectly.
Has anybody got any solutions to this issue other than a cushion on the seat?

I dont understand, how do you know the motor works?

The buttons on mine needed a disassemble and clean on the contacts to make them work reliably.

Had seat adjustment issue with ours about 15 years ago and the drive shafts had come loose from the motor under the seat.
