I'll be going to watch the British GT championship round at Oulton Park on easter monday. Anyone else thinking of going along?

It was a great day out last year watching the Porsches, Astons, Ferraris, etc in the main race. Lots of other races including Formula 3.

It's £20 on the gate for adults and free for children under 12.

I've not seen the full race program yet but free practice is usually from 9 am. Near Clay hill is a good place to park and then making a base at Cascades is a great place to watch the action.

Providing the weather is OK I'm aiming to be there between 8.30 and 9 am and will park up by the Yokahama Advan bridge (on the hill between Knickerbrook and Druids as shown by Roddy's photo below). Look for my white 964 C2 if anyone wants to meet up. [:)]

Went last year - good racing nd plenty of spins at Lodge !

Froze to death though, and weather forecast not looking any better this year.

Yes I did too but last year one race was on the Saturday, which was the day I went and the weather was glorious. As you say the weather deteriorated on the Monday [:'(].

I'll be looking out the window before I set off [:D]

I also hope to be there, but am waiting on the weather, isnt to promising, someone at work told me theres snow on the way.

Well, the weather is supposed to be kind tomorrow so I'm 99% certain at the moment. Aiming to be there by about 8.30 to catch the GT free practices session at 9 am.
