Breakers for boxster?

The very large stone chip in my wing mirror (drivers side) is annoying me to the point that I now MUST replace it....so my options are:

1) buy a new mirror housing, and get it sprayed
2) source a 2nd hand one and get it sprayed

Anyone know the best (read cheapest) places to do either, and approx costs...

...is there a breakers yard somewhere which does boxster parts?

try this place Greig http://www.1stchoiceonline.co.uk/main.asp?type=car i only yesterday got a puma elecie mirror from them, they text and email you the location of the part with the full price inc p&p.
Make sure you state your prefered colour as this helped, i had a text back within 5 mins

Also the porsche breakers advertised in the 911 world and PPost mags might help
 
I'm pretty sure Simon Butterworth (Porshapart) does Boxster parts.
Don't forget the 996 mirror is the same...

Another you might try is Douglas Valley breakers.

Both advertise in 911 & Porsche World, or a google search on the names should pick up the respective websites (for the contact numbers).

Only £20----interesting..never thought to try the OPC, just automatically assumed they would ask me to pick up the soap.

They probably will do when you get a quote for the spraying of it Grieg.
Im assuming they dont come colour coded
Could possibly be a reasonable option though, a friendly non opc shop could do it im sure
 
I know the bodyshop my OPC uses so will approach them for a quote for the spraying....I wonder if they could actually sand down and re-spray my existing one?
 
Greig - let me know what the OPC told you about the cost of spraying. The paint is peeling off the housing of mine and I haven't got the time to do too much looking around at the moment.
