Brake Fluid

Just had the brake system bled on the 964RS following serious fade during the last track outing and upon return noted firstly that the reservoir was full to capacity and secondly brake fluid was being discharged through what seems to be a small overflow pipe in the lower cill just behind the front wheel. Have now removed fluid to upper level but would like any info on the apparent overflow.

Sorry about the obviuos post but it was my father being paranoid....we were basically after confirmation that it was an overflow pipe running down the front quarter...
