Once again JCT600 are sponsoring the Bradford to Morecambe Historical Vehicle Run in aid of Cancer Support on September 9th and will be providing entries and afternoon tea at the Midland Hotel for club members. The afternoon tea is quite a sight to behold and well worth the trip alone.

The 24th Historic Vehicle Run will leave Bradford from the Yorkshire Water Authority car park Halifax Road via Bingley, Keighley, Skipton, Settle, Ingleton, Kirby Longsdale, Bolton-le-Sands and so to Morecambe where the vehicles will assemble for a Grand Display on the promenade. All types of vehicles will be eligible from motorcycles to commercials, both light and heavy. The cars will be grouped into classes according to age.

Both entry to this event and Afternoon Tea at the Midland Hotel, Morecambe is complimentary. However donations to the charity would be gratefully received and very much appreciated.

We need to have numbers by the 20th July so please let me know if you want to go, and I do realise this clashes with the R3 Beamish event.

No Ian, that's 29th September.
Would like to go on this run but rains every year so think we'll give it a miss this year.
As you say Mark, if this clashes with R3 Beamish then we'll be going to that anyway.
Don't know why this run isn't done in the summer (??!!) time when weather would (probably) be a bit better.
