Hi,
Has anyone got the number of Porsche Insurance Services please? I've checked a couple of issues of Porschepost and can't spot their contact details anywhere! Many thanks in advance!
Is this what you are looking for?

So far, the Admiral multi-car policy has come in the cheapest with the Boxster at ~£460"¦ given I paid £400 last year for the car with Groupama via A-Plan insurance (without the transfer of no claims bonus) it looks like the insurance companies are clawing back their losses through 20% higher premiums [
When we called Admiral, they happily gave a quote, but then we dug around and found that any "extras" (that is ANY Porsche options) were charged extra - for each option. These would not be reimbursed in the event of a claim, only the value of a base car. The extra cost for the options was to "cover the increased risk of it being stolen because you have made the car more attractive to thieves".
If you havent declared all the options, then are you really covered?
If Admiral have changed this stance then it would be great!

assuming you have a tracker device, otherwise they won;t insure you

LV might be another company worth checking the fine print on - they used to have an awful reputation when it came to settling claims.

Which? recently rated car insurers and NFU and LV were at the top of their list. I have just insured my Mini Cooper S with LV as they were very competitive and the only weakness seemed to be that the windscreen excess is £125 which I think is high. They do not require details of any extras supplied when the car was built, only wanting details of subsequent mods.
"All those with Admiral etc - you might want to check what is covered.

So far no-one has posted that Admiral have changed this "policy". I'd love to be reassured!
Having said that I've not heard anyone be refused a claim, but if the above still holds it can't be long...
They wanted to charge us extra for alloy wheels... "They are factory fit - you can't buy it without" "I have to charge you for alloy wheels"
Great to hear that's changed [
