Is it possible to swap my auto box for a manual???????????? or will it have to be completely re wired?

Any help appreciated

Shouldn't be too difficult, not sure where the reversing light switch is on an auto but thats the only thing that comes to mind.
Obviously you may have some spare wiring!

I would think crank sensors and such would be in a similar position. You will likely have some extra stuff around the throttle linkage and of course you won't need any "kick down" linkage - you'll have to kick down yourself [;)]

Quite easy task to do. No need to change electricity. Speedo signal cams also from trans like it does from manual transmission cars, also reverse light switch. Autotrans bellhousing is the same as manual has. Clutch workcylinder's hole is just plugeed off. Actually even 968 Tiptronic uses 944 bellhousing... You must have a clutch pedal, it is just removed from automatic cars. Pay some attention to wiring, there is a switch in gear selcetor, so you can start automatic car only in P & N positions. Parts you need are more or less the following: transmission, torquetube, clutch, clutch pedal, sifter, sifter rod to trans, slave & work hydraulic cylinders with necessary hoses.
