Anyone got a boot light in good condition that they would exchange for a tenner? Don't know if there are different versions out there, but this is for an 89 2.7, fits into a rectangular hole in the carpet just near the sunroof motor.

I do, but I will do you an even better turn and tell you that you should be able to buy a brand new one from your OPC for around a tenner!

The list price is £10:27 + VAT but itll be closer to ten delivered.

I also think the lamp from a VW Golf fits it certainly did in the front unit I replaced mine with a time delay one from a Mk GTI around £4 off eBay now the courtesy light operates with a time delay and I think the boot light is the same size as the front one.
