Booking List for Instruction on Bedford Track Day

In an attempt to keep things manageable I've separated this from the track day thread

Prices for instruction are:

£20 for 20 mins
£35 for 40 mins (2 x 20 i think, I didn't ask)
£50 for 1 hr (3 x 20?)

I suggest that we get people signed up for this in advance -
a. it means Colin can make sure he has enough instructor cover
b. I hope you can grab the best timeslots

So far we have

am
aporschefan (Jabriel Raja?)
Andy Watson
Stephen Glasgow
Graham Francis

pm
Andy Watson

I could do with "real" names here as I will need to confirm with Colin. Once you're booked in you can pay on the day

Thanks

Ed

Could you add me for one slot the am if possible please. Only track I've ever driven on is the nurburg ring so some pointers would be handy. Thanks. James Orsborn

Can you stick me down for a 20 minute AM slot please. I haven't driven Bedford for a few years and an Instructor always helps Thanks - Paul Smith

am aporschefan (Jabriel Raja?) Andy Watson Stephen Glasgow Graham Francis James Orsborn Paul Smith pm Andy Watson btw james - Bedford is a bit different to the 'ring! much less scary with loads of runoff and no blind crests or corners

Ed, apologies for any confusion. You got it right first time. I may want another session later in the afternoon (assuming its available.) When is the latest we should confirm by for a second session? Or will we be able to do this on the day?

Ed, I just spoke to Colin, he has sorted us 4 garages. I have paid (transferred money paid for garages) for 1hr instruction. Apparently we will need to pay in advance to secure the instructors and have both am and pm sessions about equal of numbers so they can work whole day. Sorry if I'm confusing matters! With that in mind can you please put me down for 1 am session and 2 pm sessions. Edd (Marques-Mortimer)

Spoke to a Phil Brough at the Autosport International show, he used to be a track driving instructor with Palmer at Bedford so knows the track well, he now works with Porsche-On-Track. He apparently used to race 944's and still has a 924S race car so knows these cars well. He has told me he is gong to contact Javelin to see if might hire him for our track day, seemed like a good idea to me! Edd
