Blatant advert, get it bought.

Sold for £2550, hes already rang and had a chat and paid a deposit. first time Porsche/944 owner at least he got a good one to start with [:)]

just got to whip the plate off and he can have it.

im not [:(] I thought better of it as soon as he rang actually, oh well.

the 968 I had seen has now gone too, just going to put it in the bank and wait now.

This is fun not! the guy that bought the car sent me a deposit as requested instantly, great, but came to view the car to ensure it was as described, ok not ideal but he was happy we shook hands and he agreed to come this week to collect, once he had sorted his insurance out.

He has just rang, not sure hes having it now as hes been quoted over £2000 for insurance. why dont people check things like this first?

boils my wee wee.

I'm guessing he's reasonably young, the thing is a Porsche, any Porsche even the first 924 is group 20, don't ask me why it just is. I remember my eldest son then 25 was given a 924, when he tried to insure it he was quoted £8000.... yikes

I think hes early 30's, apparantly its to do with his address? ive sent him all the insurance address's from the insurance thread, so fingers crossed he gets a better quote or else im out of pocket due to a deposit ive put on another car.

its funny, my renewal this year would of been £85 fully comp.
