Black Sheep Brewery Trip

Just a reminder to that I need to start sorting out attendees for the trip on May 8th. Quite a few people are now showing interest but I'll need firm bookings at the next club night this Wednesday please. There is another club night before the trip but its cutting it a bit fine but this meeting would be better if poss.

I'll see you all on Wed eve to go through any bits and pieces but roughly its £15 all in food, tour, etc and and of course........................ the driving will only cost you a few precious litres of Optimax so come on you know it makes sense.

I'm planning a 2 hour circuit of North Yorks that will be similar to Randolphs but without the green laning for those who were out to win the track session and need another challenge. A bacon sarnie at the start will be optional but highly recommended[:)]

See you all at the Crown on Wednesday

Hi Wayne,

I'd like to come to the Black Sheep Brewery on May 8th. Can I book two places for myself and my friend Janet. I'm a football widow at the mo, it's Leeds' last match of the season.

And, if anyone is travelling north crossing the A166 York to Brid road, I'd like to join them on the journey to the brewery.

Cheers,
Tracey

Just a quick post to say we had a great day yesterday. Even we didn't get lost with the route. A shame you couldn't have made it. A settee and a snooze would have been good after lunch and the Riggwelter.

Many thanks
David and Matthew

Thanks Wayne - a great day out although Cath was feeling a little 'sea sick' at times - that was due to the roads not my driving !

Happy motoring - Randolph

I'm sure most didn't notice, but I secretly tagged along for the 'drive' in the morning. A very enjoyable run out except for being stuck in Richmond @ the road works for almost 1/2 hour [] . I hope John, Tracy and the lads in the 993 targa were not too late turning up at the brewary [;)] [:)]

Just to add my thanks to you Wayne for organising the Black Sheep brewery trip. The roads were interesting and some felt like the big dipper as we went over the top! All sheep are still safe and only some dead flies ended up on my bumper.

We were delayed in Richmond with the roadworks - time to spot William Haigh going to the local - does he actually live there or is he just the MP. The guy giving the tour at the BSB was amusing and lunch was delish (when it arrived!).

Hello to all the members I met on the day and look forward to meeting some more at the next event.

William Hague lives just outside Catterick Garrison ( the place with all the barbed wire fences, soldiers & tanks we passed through ) in an an old 'Hall' that was converted to apartments. [:D]

Really enjoyed the whole day out, drive, lunch and tour of the brewery. Only got the car wet on the motorway whilst returning home. Have got a nicely suntanned face after 2 hrs with the hood down.

Thanks Wayne

PS Wanted to attach a picture but still do not know how to make them small enough to post

As soon as I typed WH's name and posted it, I knew the spelling was wrong! Thanks for correcting it. And that's a subtitler for you, who should know how to spell!

do you have any software supplied with the camera to 'manipulate' your photos? If you do there should be a resize option where you can reduce the number of pixels. Reduce to something like 800x600 & that should be fine [:D]

Here is the photo I promised yesterday. This is the row of cars parked in masham Square prior to the drive, you can see that the weather was good, very sunny but cool. If anyone woud like a copy of this photo, please send me your e-mail address to adamtsobek@btopenworld.com and I will mail to you
