Hi All
Has anyone had a set or red brake calipers retrofitted to a 996? if so what are the rough costs?
My Black 996 is crying out for them [;)]
Cheers
Paul

PS: here is a picture of my pride and joy, which I took in Italy in the summer, Im slightly biased as its my car, but I think it really shows how good the 996 looks.

Gaaaaaaagious!!!

Yes red calipers would loke the dogs dangles.

Ninemeister can professionally respray them for you. I am thinkng of getting mine done too.
It aint cheap.

FYI the black, red and silver calipers are exacly the same spec except for paint colour. So retro fitting factory painted red ones is a straight swap.

Hi Sheldon

I also have a black 996 which is also crying out for Red Calipers (and a PSE but that is another story!).

Can you tell me how you get on?

Thanks

I Had a look on the Neinmeister site, from what they say it sounds like they do a good job (i.e removing the existing coating, then painting and recoating) and the cost was £125 per pair so £250 for all 4. However they are a bit far away from me. Ive put the idea on hold for now, I want to see how much my major service runs to first.

Hi
I actually read this thread antocipating good value holidays in Russia or China, but in their absence I must admit your 996 does look very nice and red calipers would look sensational. Good luck!!

Hi Paul
Nice one and touche! Have just got back from the UK (Brum) where it was too cold by far! Having seen the -30 in Moscow I don't think my flip-flops (or me)would be up to it.[;)]
Have you had the red calipers fitted yet? Should look an awesome beastie when done.
Cheers!
Rob

Hi Rob,
I thought you like that [:D]
I think the red break calipers are off the cards at the moment as I just had a full service done, (including RMS)
So ill have to start saving my pocket money first
If I do get them done, ill post some pics
Cheers
Paul
