As the title says, wheres the best place to get a new back box? As my baffle is rattling and blowing like hell :(

Thanks

Brilliant thank-you! Know there probably isnt but just going to check is there a difference between the 2.5 and 2.7 exhausts?

Sorry for the shameless plug but I am selling an S2 Dansk exhaust on ebay if you're interested.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-944-S2-Dansk-Stainless-Steel-Exhaust-Back-Box-/190871372355?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c70d20243

I think the only difference is the size of the back box which is larger on the S2. The flange and the mountings should mate up.

I hadnt noticed that it was for a 2.7l, sorry. As others have stated, youll need an S2 exhaust (944.111.041.03 - £1,500-odd from Porsche btw!).

More expensive than just a back box, but I had a full manifolds-back (mine has the factory option decat) stainless system fitted at Longlife in Peterborough; £400 all in. Lovely job - a work of art under there.

Cheers guys, is that a deffinate the 2.7 has the same fitment as the s2?

Mike that sounds ideal as peterbrough is a bit of a trek from me :( as otherwise would probably go for it. Mine was factory decat option aswell :)

If you call looking up both models on PET and comparing their exhausts, then yes. The part number is the same but I suggest that you look yourself too. There are two 2.7l engines and two S2 engines.
