Beford Trackday final preparations

Hmm, the garage in question is just off the m4 and is usually pretty rammed. I'll do some logging, as the timing felt like it was pulled back by the ecu. I have a fresh tankfull again so ill see. Back on topic, sun visor clip superglued, heater clip cable tied, brake pads checked, Tyres kicked, underside checked for new leaks.

I'm in Kettering tonight in my 924 turbo, its first long journey since engine rebuild, so I may detour past the Autodrome en route to Kings Lynn first thing in the morning. I take it its OK to get on site to watch a few laps?

ORIGINAL: Frankie5bellies filled up wit V Power + for a change, checked tyre pressures, and all fluids good -- so good to go. Really looking forward to my first track day in my first Porsche - double newbie !! One thing, I was getting some weird low frequency revolving noises from the back end when low on fuel and now its full seems to have gone away - what could it be? See you all Monday
Fuel pump? the one on my cab is sometimes very noisy. The cab likes V-power nitro though so filled the coupe up with it today. Pretty sure it is the same octane rating as V-power just more detergents. I think F1 cars are supposed to use pump fuel these days, I did wonder if they are making it a bit more exotic to help out the red cars.
