Right - I can' t wait any longer. How did you do it?

Was this wheel originally black (and anodised) or was it sliver (anodised) then painted black?

The wheels were black with the original coating underneath

So i got some heavy duty paintstripper got all the black off then i was left with the anodised coating which was a ba*!" £d to get off.

So i used some oven cleaner left that on for about a hour then i was left with just the alloy

Now heres the hard bit start with 240 wet and dry then 320 then 400 then 600 then 1000 then 1200 all wet of course with a little bit of washing up liquid in the water then polish to your hearts content and you are left with the result you see

Got to polish a lot more between the spokes[:)]

yeah you aint wrong gavin i reckon i could do 2 a day but my arms hurt for now

i am still working on part 3 just waiting for my m8 to come and start the welding[:(]
