[FONT=calibri"]This drive is in place of our advertised Shelsley Walsh breakfast meet.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]We will be meeting at the AV8 restaurant in Kemble airfield for breakfast or just tea/coffee. [FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]The restaurant is open from 0900 and we aim to depart there by 1100 for a drive to Symonds Yat Rock.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]At Symonds Yat we will stop for a picnic and enjoy the views while the more adventurous take a walk down to the river for lunch at one of the pubs or Cafés [FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]When we get to Symonds Yat we will set a time for departure.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]At the set time we will take a short and scenic drive to Tintern Abbey along the Wye valley, parking up at the Abbey car park and calling into the pub for a well-deserved cream tea.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]Directions to AV8[FONT=verdana,geneva"]

[FONT=calibri"] Gloucestershire[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"] GL7 6BA[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]Unfortunately the sat nav usually takes you to the wrong side of the airfield.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]You will need the A433 Tetbury road between Tetbury and Cirencester[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]Driving out of Tetbury towards the end of a long straight road keep an eye out for the Bristol Britannia up on your right, you will then find a sign for the AV8 on a bend and a turning on the right. If you miss the turn you will soon go under a narrow bridge.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
[FONT=calibri"]Travelling from Cirencester when you go under the narrow bridge the AV8 will be sign posted on the left then follow directions to the Café [FONT=verdana,geneva"]

Keep an eye out for 13x 991s from the 991 register on tour in Wales this weekend in a quick convoy in your vicinity on Sunday morning, if you blink then you may miss them [:)]

Will keep an eye out in our mirrors for you Adrian:ROFLMAO:

Looks like the sun will be returning for Sunday, should be a good day

Yes, plenty of room and everyone is welcome.
we will be bringing our lunch to have at Symonds Yat Rock but some others will be walking down to the riverside pubs and cafe's.
should be a good crowd, look forward to seeing you at AV8

Dear Elaine and Stuart

See you all at Club night
Kind Regards

What Wayne said !

A wonderful, well organised drive in near perfect conditions with beautiful scenery, great company and really nice weather, thank you Stuart and Elaine. I couldn't have wished for more on my first proper club event.

Here's too many more !

Just like to say thanks for organising a great day. Great weather and even better, great company.

Good day. Good weather. Good company. Good to meet new members too (Andy, Wayne). The view from the back of the convoy as we dropped down into Monmouth of a dozen assorted Porches was superb (I wish I had a dash cam).
