Authentic registration plates

I have found a company that can produce authentic plates for my 1989 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera Targa Sport.

It shows the Porsche logo in the top right, the AFN logo in the bottom right, and the words “AFN Limited, Isleworth, 01-568-8700” along the bottom of the plate.

Does this make sense as I understand that Porsche GB took over in 1965 but the AFN branding was used until the 1990’s when they became regional branded.

Blank copy of plate attached.

Thanks,

Technically I'm not sure they can be "authentic" for 1989 as plates now need additional details (such as BSI mark and post code of plate supplier) which weren't required in 1989?

I think it is very limited what you can have displayed legally on car registration plates. If you want them for when you have the car on display that’s different.
I think Greenman986S is correct and the answer on what’s legal may be on the gov.uk website. Steve
