Audi RS2 big brake exact same dimensions as 944 Big Red 322x32

Hi All,

maybe a bit trivial but I am in doubt wether the big brake kit for the RS2 has exactly the same dimensions as when mounting on the 944 Turbo late models. Reason for asking is that I have been offered MOVIT brake hats for the big 2 pcs. brake conversion 322x32mm (brake hat is screwed together with the loose brakedisc) but I am not sure that they are the exact same height as what is used on the 944.

Thnanks in advance for any clarification!

Cheers

Niels

I thought that they were 911 discs, which would lead me to expect them to be about 5mm in the wrong place. Perhaps a bit of research reading period reviews will help?

If i remember correctly the rs2 used 968 cs brakes.don't know if they were m030 or not. It's been a long time since I've seen an rs2.

I meant to add, that I believe that these are actually 965 discs, hence my suspecting that they will be 5mm out of place (from researching brake caliper/disc options for my Turbo).

RS2 front disks were 993 units. Rear disk diameter was the same as 993 had, but disk ET was different, so RS2 rear disk is for RS2 only. Bigger front disks designed for RS2 should work for you.

Great - thanks for clearing up - I was also in doubt if it was 965 or 993TT discs that were used.

I wish you all a pleasant start to the week :)

/Niels
