because it's a very small market for these and with finance a very expensive toy. And 2nd hand you can get >£30k off list.

I don't even want one, rather have a non RS, thought about buying one yesterday infact !

Its amazing that RS residuals are so weak compared to 3- 5 year old low mileage 718 Spyders which are barely below original list price

Back to Black this Bolton build slot was offered to me back in May and I declined and looks like so did everybody else as its now what must be there final RS and once again they have gone for a basic spec example £131,771 excl VED on here for £129,990

718 PDK car are def very expensive, but in the real world much nicer than the RS one and still £40k cheaper. You have to really want the RS one and for me it's sits in no mans land.
Bad roof, soft suspension so not a track machine like the GT4 RS which has a cult following. I still not sold on the SRS myself. I would never use it !

I can't see there is much difference between the market for the Spyder RS and the GT4 RS. New and used prices for both are very similar. Once the new cars are sold there will be around 400 SRS in the UK. This number will dictate the market going forward. Personally I think the GT4RS and SRS are awesome machines with the proper almost 500bhp, 9000 rpm GT department engines. The SRS suspension spring rates are lower than the Gt4RS but it is not soft it's just more compliant for road use. The world is a better place for Porsche having built the Srs.

maybe, but you are not buying one and neither am I, and I had a Gt4RS which did have a purpose as a track tool so a bigger market imo.

A guess, a lot of people say "i'll buy one at ££" then never do. So if you don't have one now what's stopping you you cannot order a new one.

I had a GT4 RS was a bit crap to be honest, swapped it for a 992.1 GT3 PTS car , and I'll buy another 718 Spyder. but zero reason to buy a SRS for me.

Nothing stopping me at all. IMHO porsche don't make crap cars, I've had 4 gt cars and they where all awesome.

I do think they make quite a few crap cars year on year and loads have engine issues past and present, GT4 RS was a underdeveloped car and was a bit crap. thing is still better than the other cars out there, does not make it a great car because it's better than a Lotus though !
But we had years of IMS crap engines, then 991.1 crap engines, then 991.1 1st gen crap EPS, then 991.2 Turbos blowing up every where, now PADM failing on all 718 Platforms, GT4RS poor suspension, so don't give me the owner ship Hype :-0 end of the day you don't own a SRS or a GT4 RS ! that is the "fact" here. so something IS STOPPING YOU ! where I have been there done it and told you it's a bit crap

Now due to all these issues costing Porsche millions they have just changed the warranty, so that's also now crap and it was the best out there ! dealers are all crap, customer service is crap.
car prep is now in the main crap, they only prep a car if you find a fault these days and spend zero on prep. last 4 2nd hand OPC cars I been to see have been shocking poor quality. They will fix the issues, but in the showroom the car are substandard.
The thing is when they do make a nice car you cannot buy one unless a VIP or overs and then the best cars they do make are amazing icons and worth putting up with the crap.

Ferrari treat you much better imo and you don't find a crap prepped car in a show room ! , but I don't want one of those. Out the 2 cars you own you WILL have to have turbo's if you actually drive them or maybe already have had new ones. (two friends have Ferrari, they seem to get treated like kings, and the events are top tier)

Why did you sell the GT cars if they are that awesome ? I tend to keep the best models longer term. Hence I have a 997 manual GTS in the fleet an amazing car, why would I sell an amazing car ? before that I kept my 987 Spyder 11 years, only sold that to get the 997 GTS as it was maybe 1 of 4 in this spec and mint and did not want 2 2010 cars. If i say some thing is awesome, I tend to keep it very long term.

I ways have a GT car in the fleet, you seem to have sold your awesome ones lol.

I don't have the privilege of having a fleet so end up selling one to buy another.
I stand buy my view that all Porsche are awesome.

Buy one and report back, I have had a GT4 RS. I doubt you will buy one, like I said.
