April PP report cut to ZERO

You may have noticed that there is no R18 report in Porsche Post this month. Even though everything was submitted on time and confirmed by Mike Rees. First we had to reduce Regional reports to 450 words, now down to ZERO.

WHICH IS THE NEXT REGION FOR CULLING?

Probably the Board don't consider members in the North of England to be important. To quote David Newton - "It's too far to go up to events in Lancashire", after being invited to R18's major event, the Woodvale Rally at Southport last year. Brands Hatch isn't too far for R18 members to attend and assist all weekend, and Cornbury House isn't too far for R18 members to assist in Club Shop and take part in the Cotswold Rally!

Is the Boards way of saying they don't want a region in Lancashire & Cumbria. If that's the case perhaps a Director should have had the decency to at least call me.

If not, how am I supposed to let members who don't frequent the Forum, know what is happening in the region. We have several events in April and early May which members won't now be able to know about.

It's probably more important copy in PP to have details of "STUFF" than to have regional reports.

I have tried to get hold of David Newton & Bob Lovelace to get an answer this morning without success.

I was thinking about writing R18's May report this weekend, but I will not waste my time until I get an answer.

The Region Report is the first place I look when receiving my PP. I was even going through the alphabet in my head just in case I had 'thrown a wobbler' during the night. Was it to make room for even more adverts?
Perhaps the person responsible at Cornbury House should finance a mail shot to all R18 members with the missing report and a message as to why it was missed out.
Cheers,

David
I dont know why your report is missing but suggest you contact Stephen Mummery in the first instance

As the PP is probably the one way of communicating with the members within a region then isn't the case that this omission should be investigated in the first instance by the Communications Director. Who then has the necessary tools to redress the situation.

Perhaps I should have saved that little booklet that went straight in the bin, I could have read that instead[:D]
