Applying Dinitrol to sills any guidence / info

In the end i decided to get myself a supply of dinitrol. Clearly rated by most folk and anything is better than NOT rustproofing so I'm all set.

Having had a look I think the 600mm tube extention and some coathanger wire to stiffen it up will allow me to spray the substance in there all along the sills. However I can't see how you can in any way guarantee to get it all over the inner without something like an Endescope. I'm thiking get a cheap endescope for this purpose. What has anyone else done re application, any extra places to go in to the sills, locations of how to guides photos etc welcome.

Pull the carpet back and there is a big rubber bung on the inner sill just about level with the hand brake lever. This is the best entry point IMHO for doing the sills.
 
Personally I would wait till spring now as the air is permanently damp at this time of year, the last thing you want to do is lock a load of moisture in the sills, in the meantime just use the car regularly over winter and keep clean/salt free.

My brother did it on the race car, haven't done it on a road car. No way really to see down in there but the Bilthamber stuff we used tends to seep everywhere. It was a bit of a pain actually on a race car as the stuff was still seeping out a year later into the cabin which then requires cleaning up.

Edd is right though its getting too cold and damp to do it, really needs warm dry weather. Its a late spring job ideally with front and rear bumpers off so you can get right down the chassis rails.
 
Remove the rear wheel. At the bottom of the rear wheel arch there is a rubber inspection bung also. Remove it then use an extension pipe on your spray gun to do the entire length of the outer sill. Refit the bung and paint over with dinitrol when you are done.
