Anyone tried KW Clubsports

I hear a lot of good things about the KW V3's but not much about the KW clubsports. The clubsports come with stiffer springs and presumably stiffer valving. I think the standard clubsport springs are 540F/280R vs 340F/280R for the V3's.

Has anyone run the Clubsports? I'm keen to understand how these relate in on and off track performance against the V3s ad my current Koni Sports/Series 30s with 350F/225R springs.

Eric,
Are they not properly expensive? KW3s are enough but I know KW do a more race based system that is 000s. Which maybe why they don't get used much!

Apparently KW-V3's are for road and track where as the Clubsports are for track use. I'm not sure what kind of driving you are doing but you may find the clubsports too stiff for the road.

Eric ISTR your fellow countryman Patrick aka 333pg333 uses the clubsports and speaks very highly of them.

Neil - I though Patrick used the V3s but with much stiffer springs. I believe he is now going to Motons.

Track use is the norm, but I have to get it there which is often around a 400km round trip on broken country roads!

I don't find the Koni's overly stiff, and I'm trying to establish whether Clubsports with 540 springs are more uncomfortable than Konis with 350 springs, given that the clubsports are supposed to be more forgiving for faster shock movements (as per the V3s).

Yes they are expensive - but over in Oz the relative cost to the price of an S2 ($20k) isn't too bad. In the UK I gues it can equate to 1/4 of the cars value. I'm also planning on supercharging the S2, so a suspension upgrade will probably be in order to tame the additional power.

Be aware that the KW Clubsport's don't have the same warranty as the other kits, also I may be wrong but I think they've dropped the 944/968 Clubsport kit form their product line.

Aren't the ClubSports adjustable?
If so you shouldn't have too many issues setting them on full soft when driving on poor roads.
