Anyone now anything about this car

No nothing about the car but yes and no to the question..

It's a nice looking car it's UK RHD car with what looks like a nice orginal miles etc etc..

The price £55k for this sort of car is what I feel the market will take..

BUT what you need to look for is ... is the car solid is the engine reliable and well sorted.. These cabs can cost BIG time to get right if they are not..

So just make sure you get the car VERY well checked by the likes of Mike at PRS or Barry Curtis..

What you dan't want is to buy a £55k project..

because if you get this car right it;s a very good investment..

I believe this car was sold locally about two years ago for more like £46k - I don't believe it is a UK car - from memory South African, then imported via Belgium - but I may be wrong.

That said - it's a RHD A Cab and they're highly desirable.

Before you part with any cash I would definitely get someone like Andy Prill or Robert Gant to give the car a THOROUGH going over - 356's can be made to look lovely on the surface, yet hide all manner of sins (very expensive sins too!) underneath.

If you need contact details for either of these, just post [:)]

Good luck

Philip

there was full feature on this car a while ago in Porsche world magazine. Built by Richard Cooper who I'm pretty sure is an aircooled VW fan
